2026 FALL INFORMATION & NEWS
FALL SEASON IS HERE!
The 2026 Fall Tencap season kicks off the week of August 17! Schedules are posted, rosters are set, and we’re ready for another great season of competitive tennis.
As always, compete hard, be a good sport, and make the social side of interclub part of the fun. Stick around after your match, grab a drink with your teammates and opponents, and enjoy the season!
RAIN & RESCHEDULING
Please do NOT call off matches unless you are certain the courts are unplayable. When possible, consider a delayed start rather than immediately rescheduling.
If a match does need to be rescheduled:
Reschedule the match within 1 week and email the League with the new date and time
The match must be played within 2 weeks of the original match date
If you are having trouble meeting either deadline, please contact the League
MATCH FORMAT
Matches are 2 hours, including a 10-minute warm-up
A 10-point tiebreaker is played in place of a third set
Scoring:
PLAYOFFS
Divisions with 6 or more teams will have semifinal matches.
#1 seed plays #4 seed
#2 seed plays #3 seed
The higher-seeded team hosts the semifinal on the division's regular day and time
Players must have played in at least 2 regular-season matches to be eligible for playoffs

FALL FINALS – OCTOBER 21
The 2026 Fall Tencap Finals will be held on Wednesday, October 21 at Plaza Tennis Center.
All league members are invited to come out, cheer on the finalists, and help us celebrate another great season!
HOLIDAY – NO LEAGUE PLAY
There will be no regularly scheduled league play on September 7 (Labor Day).
KANSAS CITY COUNTRY CLUB – DRESS CODE REMINDER
Playing at Kansas City Country Club this season? Please plan ahead!
ALL-WHITE tennis attire is required at KCCC. There are no exceptions to the dress code, so please make sure everyone in your lineup is prepared before match day.

Verify completed matches by clicking the check mark in the upper-right corner of your screen
Please enter and verify scores carefully. Once a match is verified, ratings are calculated and cannot be recalculated
If a verified match is edited, the opposing captain will need to verify the match again
Check your inbox on the Tencap site regularly throughout the season for important League communication
